Practicing teachers who desire to refine or expand their practice in a structured academic program may enroll in the M.A. in Elementary or Secondary Education Program for Licensed Teachers.
Our graduate programs of studies will help practicing teachers acquire or expand the knowledge, skills and leadership capacities needed for advancement within the NM Three-Tiered Teacher Licensure System. Students who wish to pursue graduate degrees in Teacher Education may select from:
Elementary Education M.A. for Licensed Teachers
Secondary Education M.A. for Licensed Teachers
Mathematics, Science, and Educational Technology ConcentrationMath, Science and Educational Technology (MSET) are critical need areas in New Mexico. Master’s candidates in Elementary or Secondary Education are encouraged to consider one of these areas as a formal concentration in their graduate program of studies.
